We are writing this letter to voice our opinion concerning the proposed Soldotna High School name/color/mascot change. My wife and I spent 19 years as very active parents in the Kenai Peninsula School District schools with our 3 children.

With all the discussion concerning the Kenai River King salmon I am surprised that the issue of excessive guide pressure has not been brought up. The" commercial" guide industry impacts the Kenai on two fronts.
