I don’t believe in “polls.” I have listened to the results of so many polls that they do not really convince me of their authenticity. I think most of them call approximately 1,000 people. So on a poll the other day, I told a big fat lie, which I am sorry about now; I voted for Obama....

I recently had an orthopedic procedure in our local hospital. The professional care given by Dr. Peter Ross, Dr. Justin Evans, the expert OR staff and nurse Kristi Edwards was above excellent.

Residents are not being notified of this change.

My name is Kristy Leslie, mother of Trevor Speakman. Oct. 4 was exactly one year since my son was riding his bicycle and was hit by a vehicle, severely injuring Trevor. Trevor suffered a traumatic brian injury; fractured skull; three strokes, one in his front lobe and two in his brain stem; a broken...

Over the 43 years since the age of 18, I have had the privilege to either vote or not vote as an American depending on whether or not I agreed with the politico-religious beliefs that each candidate or party was espousing. I do remember my exact words to my history teacher when I told her it did not...
