Homer Electric Association announced Monday that it will be doing a member satisfaction survey for the next two weeks.
The utility said in a statement that the market research department of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association will conduct a confidential telephone survey with 350 randomly selected HEA residential members and 100 business members.
The interviews will last about 10 to 12 minutes.
HEA will receive a summary of the cooperative’s findings and use the feedback to evaluate and guide member services. The association is trying to compare its electric service and performance to other electric cooperatives nationwide.
