Body washes ashore in Seward campground

ANCHORAGE (AP) — A body has washed ashore in a campground in downtown Seward.

The Anchorage Daily News (http://bit.ly/ngLhPT) reported Tuesday that tourists camping at Seward Waterfront Park along Resurrection Bay saw the body and called police on Monday morning. Police were unable to identify the man, who is thought to be between 40 and 50 years old.

Police Lt. Louis Tiner says there were no obvious signs of foul play.

He says the state medical examiner is trying to identify the body.
