Accident slows Sterling Hwy. traffic

An accident has slowed traffic to a crawl on the Sterling Highway near mile marker 90 just south of Sterling.

The accident involved three vehicles. The first vehicle lost control on the road and struck another vehicle. A third vehicle then struck the initial two. One of the vehicles went into the ditch.

No injuries resulted from the accident, according to Central Emergency Services. 

The site of the accident was handed over to Troopers who are waiting for a tow truck to arrive. 

Both lanes of the highway are open but moving slowly.
