The Kenai Peninsula Borough has not yet declared last week’s wind storms a disaster.
Eric Mohrmann from the Office of Emergency Management said the borough had not made a decision Monday afternoon.
“Information is still being gathered,” Mohrmann said.
A decision could be made today, he said.
The disaster declaration would enable the area to seek federal funds for some of the damage done.
