Power outages hit central Kenai Peninsula

Homes and businesses lost power this afternoon as another storm hit the central Kenai Peninsula.

Additional scattered outages affected customers near Sterling, Mackey Lake, Poppy Lane and Kenai. HEA was working to restore power to those homes throughout the afternoon.
