HEA announces changes to member account numbering

Homer Electric Association customers account numbers have changed.

The association upgraded its software program, which required adding a zero to all account numbers. According to a statement from the utility, the zero is added in the last three digits of each account number. So, if the number was 12345-01, it is now 12345-001. The change happened immediately, and will be on all December bills.

HEA has asked members to look at their bills and update their account numbers with bill pay services.

Anyone with questions can contact HEA Member Services Department at 907-283-5831, 907-235-8551 or 800-478-8551.
