Davis named CEO at CPH

Interim Central Peninsula Hospital Chief Executive Officer Rick Davis is staying put.

The Central Peninsula Hospital Board of Directors announced Monday Davis would be the facility's new CEO.

"Rick Davis brings an impressive resume' as a hospital administrator," Loren Wiemer, CPH Board President said in a press release. "We have tremendous confidence in his ability to lead us on our quest to become a regional medical center focused on improving individual and community health, while achieving national standards of excellence."

Davis, who has 20 years of experience working in the Alaska hospital industry, has been at CPH since August -- he was brought in as the chief operating officer.
