Members of the Soldotna Rotary Club harvest about 60 blocks of ice from a pond off Beaver Loop in Saturday’s subzero temperatures. The ice will be transported to locations around the central peninsula for ice carvings that will be completed as part of the Peninsula Winter Games later this month.
