Youth patiently wait their turn for a ride down an ice slide featuring carved dragons Saturday at the Soldotna Sports Center as part of the Peninsula Winter Games. The event drew a large crowd and featured several events. Also featured as part of the celebration was the Native Youth Olympics, which continues today starting at 9 a.m. at Soldotna Middle School. Scheduled events include the wrist carry, Alaskan high kick and other entertainment.
