Coltyn Pribbenow and Michael Lott shovel heavy snow Thursday afternoon from Jacquie Graham’s home in Kenai. Graham said that it was only the second time since 1974 that she has felt the need to have the roof shoveled. Pribbenow and Lott were happy to take care of it for her, though. “We’re just out trying to make a little money,” Pribbenow said.

Snow Load 2/4/12

Please correct me IF I am Wrong.
It's my understanding that Homes built in Alaska can hold up to a 4 Ft DEEP Snow Load in the Roof.
That's built w/ 2X6 on 16" Center
Commercial Buildings are built for a 6Ft DEEP Snow Load.
& 90 Lbs per SqFt in Weight. Is that Correct ?

The Last time I had to Shovel My Roof was the Winter from Hell 1988/89
