In this undated photo released by the Anchorage Police Department missing Anchorage, Alaska, barista, Samantha Koenig, 18, is pictured. Police say there's little doubt Koenig was abducted after she closed up a coffee stand Wednesday night. Surveillance tapes from that night show a man wearing a hooded sweat shirt and possibly a baseball cap approaching the Common Grounds Espresso stand in midtown Anchorage, Alaska. The tapes then show Koenig leaving with the man, who was apparently armed, and walking toward the Old Seward Highway.

ANCHORAGE (AP) — Anchorage police say there's little doubt an 18-year-old woman was abducted after she closed up a coffee stand Wednesday night.

Detective Slawomir Markiewicz tells the Anchorage Daily News that surveillance tapes from that night show a man wearing a hooded sweat shirt and possibly a baseball cap approaching the Common Grounds Espresso stand in midtown Anchorage.

The tapes then show Samantha Koenig leaving with the man, who was apparently armed, and walking toward the Old Seward Highway.

Markiewicz says the case has been classified an abduction based on Koenig's demeanor and the man's actions from the tape. More than 20 detectives and other officers are working the case.

Court records shows Koenig filed for a protective order against a man in November, but the order was not issued because she failed to show up in court.

Police ask that anyone with information on Samantha Koenig's whereabouts call 786-8900.
