Memorial Day programs scheduled

There will be Memorial Day services in both Kenai and Soldotna this year. In Kenai, the Avenue of Flags will start at 10:30 a.m. at the Kenai Cemetery followed by a memorial at the Leif Hansen Memorial Park in Kenai at 1 p.m. organized by the Kenai American Legion Post 20.

In Soldotna, the service will start at 1 p.m. at the Soldotna Community Memorial Park located at 600 West Redoubt Street. The Soldotna service is organized by Soldotna VFW Post 10046.
