4-way stop installed in Kenai neighborhood

Within the next week, motorists traveling on Candelight Drive in Kenai will stop for new stop signs placed at the intersection of East Aliak Drive, according to the Kenai Police Department.

Several crashes have occurred at the intersection over the years, including one within the last 10 days, said KPD Chief Gus Sandahl in an email.

The intersection will become a four-way stop once the new signs are installed and should be safer for motorists, he said.
