Marianne Clark holds an eagle chick Wednesday afternoon while waiting for Central Emergency Services to move their ladder truck into position so that the bird could be returned to the nest it fell out of last Friday at the Diamond M Ranch. Clark, a licensed migratory bird rehabilitator, took the chick to the Bird Treatment and Learning Center in Anchorage over the weekend where it was given a good bill of health.
