Bill Holt takes a break Wednesday from working on a new loop under construction at Tsalteshi Trails behind Skyview High School. “The trail is just beautiful. It’s really different from the others,” he said of the new route. With the loop, Tsalteshi will have about 12 miles of groomed trails available to skiers in the winter and other foot-powered users during the summer. Holt said he has also widened about a mile of other trails in the system this summer. Trailheads start behind the school, off a parking lot across from the Soldotna Sports Center, and from a small parking area alongside Isaaks Road.
