Kenai man arrested for lewd act in school parking lot

A 37-year-old Kenai man was arrested Monday for indecent exposure on school property.

At 7:34 a.m., the Kenai Police Department received a report of a male, later identified as Adam Newcomb, who was allegedly committing a lewd act in a vehicle in the Kenai Middle School parking lot, police reported.

Newcomb was arrested and was charged with three counts of first-degree indecent exposure, a class C felony. The incident is still under investigation.

In April 2011, Newcomb pleaded guilty to second-degree indecent exposure, according to court records.

Kenai sells bowling alley

After 11 months of receiving offers and holding negotiations, the Kenai City Council has sold the former AlaskaLanes Bowling Alley, a closed business located on the Kenai Spur Highway near the Three Bears grocery store, to Dean You for $450,000.
