June 25 through July 11 with Beginners and Tiny Tots at 10a.m. and Beginners and Intermediates at 11a.m.

There is also space available in the semi-private swim lessons starting June 18.

The Division of Agriculture has extended the deadline to submit proposals for the 2013 Chef at the Market program until June 19. The program provides grants to chefs who plan and host special events at Alaska farmers markets around the state, with the intent to bring attention and generate new customers for locally-grown produce, and to teach consumers how to cook and prepare Alaska Grown specialty crops. Chefs are encouraged to apply to attend multiple markets in different locations and develop unique and creative events.
