Motorcycle accident slows traffic in Kenai

Traffic slowed to a crawl Friday in Kenai as investigators worked to survey the scene of a crash on the Kenai Spur Highway.

One crumpled motorcycle lay on its side in the middle of the turning lane and several Kenai Police patrol cars blocked the road down to two lanes.

Details were scarce although Kenai Police Sgt. Scott McBride said no one was killed in the wreck.

The motorcycle is severely damaged. McBride said the road - near Safeway and Three Bears  could be partially blocked until late in the evening or early Saturday morning.
