KPBSD announces adminstrators for Soldotna Schools reconfiguration

The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District has named building administrators for Soldotna area seventh- through 12th-grade schools for 2014-2015 school year.

 

The principals and assistant principals for the Soldotna schools reconfiguration were determined this week after an interview process.Administrators will stay in their current positions for the 2013-2014 school year, the district announced in a press release.

The 10th- through 12th-grade high school to be housed at current Soldotna High School campus will be overseen by Principal Todd Syverson, the current Soldotna High School principal, and Assistant Principal Randy Neill, currently the principal at Skyview High School.

Curt Schmidt, the current Soldotna Middle School assistant principal, will be the principal of the ninth-grade house at the current Soldotna Middle School.

The seventh- and eighth-grade middle school moving into the Skyview High School campus will be overseen by Principal Sarge Truesdell, currently the Soldotna Middle School principal, and Assistant Principal Tony Graham, currently SoHi’s assistant principal.

River City Academy will relocate from the Skyview High School campus to the current Soldotna Middle School campus. Dawn Edwards-Smith will remain the administrator.
