Suspect arrested after firing shots in Kenai

Kenai police have a suspect in custody after reports of shots being fired Friday night.

According to a Kenai police press release, at about 7:10 p.m. Friday, the department received a report of an individual firing multiple shots from a handgun at an occupied vehicle in the Walmart parking lot in Kenai. Police say a suspect in the shooting was subsequently located and is currently in custody.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the shooting. Police say an investigation is ongoing.
