Tom and Adele invite any single veterans to share a Thanksgiving dinner, from 2-5 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Anyone wishing to help with preparing food, set up, taking food to veterans or picking would be appreciated. Those interested in helping with a financial donation can receive a tax deduction by making checks payable to Family Bible Fellowship or they can get a donation letter should they want to give cash. The dinner will be held at the Bearup’s property, 41212 Sterling Highway, mile post 91, Soldotna. Please RSVP to 907-953-9233.

Run off that turkey dinner and support the T200 sled dog race and the Kenai River Interact Club. The T200 Turkey Trot is Friday, with 5- and 10-kilometer events starting at noon at the Soldotna Sports Center. Register online at http://www.tsalteshi.org/events or beginning at 11 a.m. on race day. Registration is $20 for adults, $10 for students and $5 for kids under age 10.

The 2013 annual Arts and Crafts Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Kenai Central High School. Santa will make an appearance at the event from noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free and the event is sponsored by the Peninsula Arts Guild and the Kenai Fine Arts Center.

The Kenai Central High School Wrestling Booster Club is sponsoring a raffle for a custom electric guitar package, with a retail value of $1,300. Tickets are $10 each and available at Old Town Music in Kenai. Only 120 tickets will be sold. Drawing to be held December 12.

The Soldotna High School Child Development class is having a free daycare Dec. 12-13 from noon-2:15 p.m. Games, crafts, snacks, and other activities will be provided. Children must be potty trained and between 2-5 years of age. Registration is required. Please email Meggean at mbos@kpbsd.k12.ak.us for an enrollment form.
