This camp will be for girls and boys who are in first through sixth grade and is an eight-week recreational program, held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 14 through Aug. 4, with many activities including arts and crafts, swimming, cooking, pottery, nature hikes, reading, fitness, games, sports, and field trips at the Nikiski Community Recreation Center. Kids need to bring a swimsuit on Tuesday mornings. No pre-registration is required. The cost is $200 for a summer pass, $75 for a punch card, $16 per day or $ per activity. This camp will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, June 20 through July 16 at the old PAC behind the Subway on Kalifornsky Beach Road. This year there will be an emphasis on musical theatre, culminating in shows at 6:30 p.m., Friday, July 15, and a 2 p.m. matinee show Saturday, July 16.

The fee to join is $425, with an early enrollment discount, $325 if paid by the end of May; also a 20 percent discount for siblings.

The Path to Victory Soccer Camp for boys and girls will be held at Kenai Sports Complex this June 27-30.. The camp, which is open to 3-year-olds through students entering the fourth grade this fall, will run from 9 a.m..to Noon each day and will focus on learning and improving basic soccer skills, such as footwork, dribbling, passing and shooting.

There will be a Parents Night and Ice Cream Social at Grace Lutheran Church on June 30th at 6:30 p.m.

While we eat ice cream we’ll show a slide show of pictures taken at the camp. All camp participants will receive a camp T-shirt and first time participants will receive a sports edition New Testament Bible.

The camp fee is $35 if paid by May 31 (which increases to $50 if paid in June), and families can reserve a spot by registering and paying at GraceLutheranKenai.com/PTV.

Space is limited to the first 100 paid registrations and will be received on a first paid first served basis.

Will take place at the Soldotna Church of the Nazarene from 9 a.m. to noon, June 13-16 for kids the ages of 3-years-old through sixth grade.

The Alaska Midnight Sun Rowing Association will host classes for 14-18-year-olds or high school seniors from 5:30-7 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, May 23 through June 3 or May 30 through June 10.

The Birch Ridge Community Church will host the Barnyard Roundup from6-8:30 p.m., July 11-15 for children ages 4-years-old through sixth grade. Call 260-6705 for more information.

Kenai Peninsula Pop Warner (KPPW) is seeking youth football players ages 5-14-years-old for the 2016 Saints Football season. KPPW teaches the benefits of youth football at all levels and emphasizes academics for a positive experience.

For the safety of players, specific age and weight limitations apply.

The season runs from July through early October and includes up to five away games in Anchorage. Home games and practices take place at Skyview Middle School, located at 46188 Sterling Highway, Soldotna.

Registration fees, which pay for equipment, referees, national fees, field maintenance, team shirts and supplies are $275 and include all gear excluding a helmet, cleats and mouth guards. Sibling discounts and scholarships are available.

The deadline to register is Aug. 1, 2016.

This Free Bereavement Day Camp offered by the Hospice of the Central Peninsula is for youth and children who have experienced a loss; ages 6- to 17-years-old on Aug 15-18.
