No injuries in Soldotna trailer fire

Central Emergency Services extinguished a burning trailer in Soldotna’s River Terrace mobile home park on Monday afternoon. The trailer was a total loss, though according to CES Captain Terry Bookey, no one was in it and no injuries resulted.

Bookey said CES received a call about smoke from the trailer at 2:05 p.m, arrived at 2:08, and “went into attack mode,” getting the trailer fire “mostly out” by 2:25 and completely out by 2:52. 17 people responded.

As of press time Monday evening, Bookey said the fire’s cause was being investigated.
