Man arrested for ramming cars

A Kenai man was arrested this weekend after allegedly ramming four parked vehicles in Soldotna, according to an Alaska State Trooper online dispatch.

William Cloer, 61, was arrested along Bridge Access Road after troopers received a report Friday night that the driver of a two-tone Chevy Suburban had run into four cars parked at the Duck Inn restaurant.

Cloer allegedly had been asked to leave the restaurant before the incident, according to the dispatch. The damage to the vehicles was estimated to be in the thousands of dollars, troopers reported.

Cloer was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a class C felony; one count of misdemeanor reckless driving and one count of misdemeanor leaving the scene of a damage-only collision.

Cloer was sent to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
