Seward opened up its Southcentral Conference volleyball schedule Thursday night in Seward with a clean sweep of Anchorage Christian Schools. The Seahawks won with game scores of 25-12, 25-21 and 25-15.

The Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions - Circle Track Division will hold races Saturday at 6 p.m. at Twin City Raceway. Gates open at 3 p.m. and qualifying begins at 4 p.m. The rain makeup, if necessary, will be Sunday at 1 p.m.
