The lights dimmed in the Anchorage Christian Schools gym on Saturday night for the championship rounds of the 1-2-3A State wrestling tournament, and with it went the final minutes of the Skyview wrestling program.

Soldotna's Sadie Fox finished third at the Lynx Loppett, held Friday and Saturday at Kincaid Park in Anchorage. Fox finished Friday's five-kilometer classic and Saturday's 4.9-kilometer skate with a total time of 32 minutes, 45 seconds.

The Kenai Central wrestling team competed at the Alaska 4A Dual Meet Championships on Friday and Saturday at South High in Anchorage. The Kards started the tournament by losing to eventual champion South 78-6, then Kenai lost to Wasilla Team 2 39-21.
