The Peninsula Oilers board of directors and concerned community members are set to begin a major fundraising push that will determine not only the fate of the 2015 season, but the future of the organization itself.

Why Vote YES on Ballot Measure 1? There is only one chance to repeal SB 21. New laws can only be repealed at the first general election following passage. SB 21 is unfair to Alaskans.

Peer out the window or take a walk around the neighborhood asking yourself if the spruce trees bear an unusually large load of cones this summer. I do not know of anyone who keeps track of spruce cone crops locally, but this appears to be a mast year.
