The Nikiski football team improved to 1-1 overall with a 42-12 victory in Barrow on Saturday.

Nathan Kincaid and Angie Brennan were the top riders Thursday in the seventh rendition of this year's Tsalteshi Cycle Series at Tsalteshi Trails. Kincaid finished the course in 33 minutes, 9 seconds, to take the win.

Adam Reimer led central Kenai Peninsula runners by placing 19th on Saturday in Seward. Matthew Shryock, running the second-fastest time in race history, won the race at 1 hour, 35 minutes and 33 seconds. Reimer's time was 1:52:52.
