Letters to the editor

On the evening of Nov. 9, I was involved in a severe head-on car accident near Sterling. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the many people who stopped to help my passenger, myself and the other driver who came into our lane. Unfortunately, I cannot recall all the people who stopped to help in our time of need before we were transported to the hospital. I would like to thank the paramedics and hospital staff for coming to our rescue and treating all the broken bones and injuries. It was truly a horrific event that was mitigated by all the caring and compassionate people who came to our aid. I expect to make a full recovery and be back in my office soon to care for all my patients. I appreciate the outpouring of support from our wonderful community.
