Letters to the editor

Nikiski High School, Student Council, council president Ashley Epperheimer and Laura Niemczyk had an all-school food drive contest (grades 6-12). Pushing through to win was the Freshman class with largest amount collected. Last Wednesday they enjoyed a Pizza Party which was donated from Charlie’s Pizza.

The food pantry is open Thursdays 9 a.m.– noon. Drop off locations are at M & M Market and Nikiski Post Office. Donations are always needed.

Thank you all for your donations for our food pantry and to Charlie’s Pizza for “stepping up” for our community again.
