What's behind ammo shortages?

Posted: June 20, 2013 - 4:36pm  |  Updated: June 21, 2013 - 9:20am

Ammo shortages everywhere. There was a story of ammo shortages in Fairbanks and the continual search for such by many who know that Tuesday is ammo day at Sportsmans in Fairbanks. Many calls made looking for the basics like .22, as well as other popular shells. Well this is not an exclusive search for those in Fairbanks alone. We here on the Kenai know that Monday is ammo day for Sportsmans in Soldotna, and that Wednsday is the day for Three Bears in Kenai, each receive many calls from those of us that are looking for shells and can’t find them.

It does appear to be a nation wide event this shortage of shells and it makes me wonder what’s up. There is a governmental, as well as Global push to limit firearms at every turn and our government knows that they will never rid America of weapons so they have to go another way and that is to limit ammo for all guns and we see this being done at an alarming rate.

Our right to bear arms was written in our Constitution for a reason by our forefathers and that reason was the knowledge they had about power hungry governments that would seek absolute power and control of everything and everyone if allowed to do so freely and without any opposition.

We are about to see our president give up our rights to the United Nations by his signing a treaty for arms control by the UN this coming week. Make no mistake folks there is a global plan for absolute control of every aspect of everyones lives here in America and else where and the restriction of arms or ammo fits right in for a smooth transition into a global society here in Alaska, America and everywhere if they can regulate and restrict weapons and ammo from those that would appose their Dream Acts.

Time always reveals the plans of men in their hunger for control and if one would look they could see the writing on the UN wall as well as the White House walls for this global control’s final push.

Hang on to those Bibles, Guns and Ammo, because it does appear that these are the two weapons they seek to do away with and it really should make people ask questions of why.

It’s not the end of the world as some claim, but, it sure looks like it might be the end of freedom for Americans any day now. Each one of us needs to make up our own minds as to what’s really going on with all the shortages of ammo and push to restrict the truth of the Bible while all other religious books are being promoted.

Limits of the largest Army on Earth

Just looked at an e-mail on the topic of the number of deer hunters in just Minnesota, 600,000 which quantifies as the 8th largest army on Earth. Throw in the 700K in Mich. 750K in Penn. and the mere 250K in West Virginia and that would be the largest Army in the world. Now you add in the other 46 states and you begin to get the idea our forefathers had when they Penned the 2nd amendment. WOW that's some firepower. But what good are guns w/o ammo and or the components used to reload ammo, they don't make very good clubs.
However our current administration seems very focused on limiting the weapons and ammo available to the American public. Guess they don't trust the American Voter that put them where they are. Their ideas about gun control sure work well in Chicago, you can't have a gun there unless your a criminal, do all criminals there have guns or just having a gun makes you a criminal. But the gangsters in Chicago have killed more people than have died in the Afgan War so far this year. I think that make 3 years in row!
But a law abiding citizen cannot own a weapon to defend their home in Chicago. Not even a double barreled shotgun like VP Biden recommended as perfect home defense. How stupid is that? How about a deer hunter planning a deer hunt in southern Michigan? Do you think he could fly into Chicago and catch a train to his destination, even with his guns in a travel approved lock box he would be arrested! No crime no ammo, didn't even unlock the box and off to jail he goes. And by-by to that treasured old deer rifle.
I haven't seem them coming to take our Bibles yet, but I am very alarmed by the huge Islamic increase in America, Canada, and Western Europe. You see the high priest or Emoms have decreed that all Muslims who kill an Infidel will automatically go to Heaven! You are IN no questions beyond did you kill one? As we all know an Infidel is anyone that is not Islamic period. It doesn't even matter if you have red hair! If your are an Infidel you die! And don't think your freedom of speech laws in America will save you. Like that puppet Acmod the dead jihadist says, "I kill you, I kill you!"
So if you are like me or my old buddy WOW you can carry either the good book or a good gun and know how to use them BOTH. Keep your powder dry!

Need some more facts...

Some have suggested it's simply a supply and demand issue. I can see half those number of hunters cited in Big Red Dog's comments buying up everything they can just to be safe and in order to have enough to fight the U.N. soldiers.
When all those hunters go to their local stores and buy all they can each and every day there is a delivery then there's going to be a shortage.

It's well known that there are many people online buying up Ammo and reselling it when the weekly cycle is low or out speculating on the price. They're trying to make money on the shortage. These same guys send alarming warnings of fear in an attempt to drive up the prices and those not seeing the bigger picture think their only answer is to buy more even though they may not be able to afford it.

I've never heard the ammo suppliers complaining about being ordered to cut production by the current Administration.

Lots of loose ends here that require answers before I'm going to buy 5 more firearms with the 10,000 rounds per gun.
