Good time for old timers

The Old Timers luncheon was great. The room was packed to overflow with healthy, noisy old timers happy to have a chance to see friends of years past, enjoy a delicious turkey dinner, honor those who have left us during the past year (a list read by Joe Arness), then win prizes of fresh eggs, veggies and special pretty cakes.

Thanks a bunch to the Rachel and her Senior Center staff including Carol Bannock and Kathy Romain, Virginia Hallmark and other volunteers helping all the cooks preparing the delicious meal.

Big hugs to “the kids” who left their busy lives to assist folks when they arrived, serve all the meals and pamper everyone throughout the luncheon.

This year the kids included Abby Ala, Eileen Mullin, Paul Reger, Ellen Sheehan, Sharon Weaver Isaak , David Issak, Gary and Gilda Hollier, Ginger Kaona, Janice Wilsack, Mary Arness and Dorothy Gray. We could not do it without you!

Joanna Hollier and I are pleased to see folks enjoy this luncheon. We thank you all for coming.
