My favorite T-shirt asks "If you can't shoot 'em or gaff 'em; why do they call it tourist season?" Not all of us make money from tourism. Not many of us appreciate being crowded off the roads and rivers. If tourism is so dynamic then it should be able to thrive and survive without a government subsidy. Bravo Mayor Carey!
