Donations benefit Love INC

Love In the Name of Christ of the Kenai Peninsula would like to thank the Kenai Lions Club and Funny River Bible Church for their donations of picnic tables to the Family Hope Center, located in the Merit Inn. This is a perfect addition to the new children’s playground that was installed by the Redeemer Covenant Church Youth Group from Sacramento, California.

While this may seem like a small thing, it has provided a place for families to gather together to eat a meal together. As well as regular meals, the Family Hope Center has celebrated several children’s birthdays in recent days, and this is a wonderful addition for a gathering place for celebrations such as these. Simple connections like a birthday party or even a meal together can help build family bonds not just within the family, but with others as well. Many families will continue to benefit from their generosity and community support.
