United Way helps Hospice of Homer

On behalf of Hospice of Homer (HOH), I want to thank the Kenai Peninsula United Way (KPUW) for the generous allocation Hospice recently received. HOH is pleased with KPUW’s level of support as we continues to provide free of charge service to increasing numbers of individuals and families.

I also want to extend a thank you to all the volunteers involved in the UW process including the KPUW Board of Directors and the allocation committees. Serving on a board or a committee takes dedication and time as well the ability to make hard decisions.

In addition, Hospice wants to thank all the KPUW contributors. Without your support there would be no Kenai Peninsula United Way and, as a result, no allocation to Hospice of Homer. To those of you who designated your donation go directly to Hospice a special thank you.

Hospice of Homer appreciates the support provided through the Kenai Peninsula United Way. As a volunteer hospice organization, such monies are critical. They allow HOH to continue to provide quality supportive services to ever increasing numbers of southern Kenai Peninsula residents and their families.
