Let us handle the debt ceiling

The problem with the way Congress handled the debt ceiling issue was epic and awful. Now they want to as a “Joint Select Committee” of 12 members equally divided by house and Senate and by party to find $1.5 Trillion in reductions by Thanksgiving. OK – one problem – they are politicians – when was the last time they paid a real bill? What is needed  is a few real people to do this budget work like myself and a few other mothers and women who know about budgets and how to live in them – who do not have an agenda to keep – just a country we love. Let us do this paperwork. I have at least one volunteer besides myself and I am sure I could get a couple more. Thank you.
