Thanks for helping

The ABC Pregnancy Care Center thanks the many sponsors, volunteers and participants who helped make Saturday’s, August 6th Celebrate Life! 5K Run and Walks such a tremendous success.

Sponsors included Peninsula Powersports, Bill Wood Construction Inc., Advanced Biomechanics Inc., Alyeska Tire, Bobbie Behrens M.D. OB/GYN, Brown Agency, D&T Business Services, Kenai Vision Center, Spenard Building Supply, Custom Seafood Processors, Dale Dolifka Attorney at Law, Mr. & Mrs. Kevin Rainey, Law Office of Sonja Redmond, Soldotna Professional Pharmacy and Tauriainen Engineering & Testing.

Other faithful center donors and in-kind event donors helped make this event a success. In-kind donations came from Carrs Safeway in Kenai, COSTCO, Kaladi Brothers Coffee, Jumpin Junction, McDonalds, North Star Paving, Peninsula Athletic Club, Soldotna Bible Chapel and Three Bears.

We are grateful for the numerous volunteers, too many to name, who stepped in to lend a helping hand and our Run/Walk committee who worked for months in advance organizing the event. This dedicated committee consisted of Karran Driskill, Sue Olson, Sue Reitter and was chaired by an incredibly energetic and competent Kristy Innes.

Finally we thank the approximate 200 runners and walkers who freely participated, but generously donated to help the ABC Pregnancy Care Center continue to provide, at no cost to our clients, a safe place to go for services, accurate information and support; before, during and after pregnancy.
