Friendship Mission grateful for help

Posted: September 14, 2011 - 9:49am

There are so many people and organizations that we wish to say “Thank You” to because of all they have done for Friendship Mission since we received our first resident in October, 2005.

Some of the most recent donors include the 4H Jr Market Livestock Buyer’s Club members who gave us a 1/2 pig. It will be greatly appreciated by the residents of the Mission. Also, Three Bears Store for cutting and wrapping the meat for us.

Land has been donated for a house to be built for the Director of the Mission. We do appreciate this gift.

Donations of food have come from many businesses, organizations and individuals.

Clothing has been donated for the men. If anyone wishes to donate, please call before you bring the clothes, in case we have a sufficient supply at the time.

We want to thank the churches, organizations and individuals that faithfully contribute through monthly support because we don not receive any federal or state funds.

God bless the people who have helped in so many ways. The residents and the staff thank you all.

A REAL COMMUNITY SERVICE

i find the mission is a real service to community, there are others services available to the women which is great. but unlike those services the mission doesn't receive any government funds. i'm sure the Cowgill's could have taken their lifelong savings and be on many different cruises enjoying 'exotic' locations
GOD BLESS THEM
