Many hands make senior center fundraiser a success

Soldotna Senior Center’s Fall Round-Up fundraiser was a huge success and would like to thank all of the wonderful volunteers that worked tirelessly decorating, table setting, cooking, serving, ticket sales, soliciting door prizes and auction items, auctioneers, picture taking, fabulous musicians and cleanup.

A big thank you to the Spur Highway Spankers for their unbelievable and great music.  This is their 12th year volunteering for this event and people come from all over to hear them play.

We would like to thank Mayor Peter Micciche for being our auctioneer, and his family for assisting in the auctions.  A very special thank you to  Mary Lane and Estelle Parks for the numerous and woderful door prizes and auction items they solicited from our very generous merchants.  We would like to thank Alaska Railroad for their special donation of round trip tickets for 2 to Denali.
