Sturman a proven voice for community

After reading Ms. Martin's letter to the editor (Oct. 17), I felt that I too, should write to urge residents to vote. However, we have had far too many "business" men taking office in our country with disastrous results. I would not trust our "multimillion dollar operation" to such a business man as Mike Navarre. Let's not forget that Navarre was appointed this year to sit on the CPGH Inc. Board, which is full of businessmen, who desire to sell our hospital while it is at its "maximum value." Do not think the battle for our hospital is over, the CPGH. Inc Board only needs a change of local government, such as Mike Navarre in office, to continue to push their agenda.

We need a peoples Mayor in office that will fight with us against the sale of our hospital and to pull us out of this current economic collapse, we need Fred Sturman. He's just a normal guy, who loves family, who loves freedom, who works hard, who has been a proven voice for our community, year after year. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of career politicians, "business" men who succeed only because of the support of the wealthy. When they get into office they don't do what's best for the people, but what's best for their pockets. I value this community and our hospital tremendously and I have hope for our future, that is why Fred Sturman will have my vote on October 25th.
