Thanks for smoothing bumps in the road

I would like to extend a hearty "thank you" to all who helped to get our neighborhood road improved a couple of weeks ago. First, thank you to the Borough Roads Department for helping us get our RIAD approved, then getting the improvements completed before winter. Thanks also to Alaska Roadbuilders who did an excellent job in just a couple of days, with minimal impact on traffic. Finally, thank you to Monica Griffiths, our neighborhood "champion" who organized the project, and rallied support from all of the property owners over the past several years, until our potholed dirt road was transformed into smooth blacktop. Kudos to all!
