Let's suppose that a powerful third-party candidate surfaces for the 2012 Presidential election race. Then suppose that none of the three candidates can garner the needed 270 electoral votes to win. Conclusion: It's a perfect set up for Sarah Palin to rock the boat and run as an independent third-party candidate.
