Quilts, blankets a gift to treasure

This is the time of year we look forward to the donation of handmade children's quilts lovingly provided by the Kenai Peninsula Piecemakers. This year the LeeShore Center received 91 quilts and 5 throw blankets to be given to children residing at our emergency shelter and transitional housing facilities. The time and effort devoted to making these keepsakes throughout the year is so very much appreciated by all of us!

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank Sheila Holtzen, Ruby Windsor, Pat Kissee, Jean Douglas, Sharon Tikka, Myrna Davidson, Margaret Goodman, Betty West, Susan Bible, Beverly Sue Bowen, Sarah Waechtler, Connie Dillinger, Donna Tomlinson and Ruth Gillespie!  Your thoughtfulness and caring are gifts we treasure!
