Nikiski playground committee grateful for support

The Nikiski Community Playground Committee would like to extend a thank you to all of those that helped, attended and supported the Spaghetti Dinner and Dessert Auction this past Saturday at the Nikiski Community Recreation Center. The fundraiser was exceptionally successful, and all proceeds from this event will benefit the Nikiski Community Playground project.

We are truly grateful for all of the wonderful homemade desserts that were donated for the auction. There were so many who donated, and we thank you all! The student volunteers did an outstanding job serving food and tending to the tables. All of the playground decorations and banners were created by students from the Nikiski North Star Elementary school. The NPRSA Recreation Staff worked hard from beginning to end to make sure all was set to go at the NCRC. And finally, the delicious spaghetti dinner was prepared by the Treehouse Restaurant. What a great collaborative effort by all!
