Reader grateful for blessings

I am a Christian in a Christian Nation

I heard a speech not long ago, where the man proclaimed "We (The United States of America) are no longer a Christian Nation."

Our laws are based on Judeo-Christian principles found in the Bible. A common thread in our society that makes us strong in each individual family, community, and as a Nation. I am thankful for our found fathers who prayed and received inspiration to write our Constitution and our laws according to these principles.

I am a Christian, and I am thankful for Jesus, and all that he has done for our Nation our community, for my family and for me.

I am thankful for clean running water, and hot water that I can bathe in.

I am thankful for home, and for the heat and comfort it provides for me and my family.

I am thankful for the food on our shelves and in our refrigerator.

I am thankful for my bed and blankets where I lie down in comfort for a night's sleep.

These are but a few things I am thankful for. For many of God's children around the world who do not have these blessings. Tell me what you are thankful for.
