Few of us will answer the call to public service, but Dave Carey is such a man, dedicating his life in the service of others. The members of Homer Electric Association could do no better than electing Dave Carey to the HEA Board of Directors. Dave is a leader and educator who has a clear-cut interest in the well being of HEA and its members.
Dave Carey will, and has always listened to the concerns of the HEA members, but will not be swayed by special interest groups or self-appointed spokespersons. He views each issue with the best interests of the membership in mind. How do I know this? I had the opportunity to serve with Dave on the HEA Board of Directors some years ago. His leadership ability and dedication is above reproach.

I agree Dave Carey does have a servant heart for people, but.
If i'm not mistaken Don both of you were involved in bringing in an out of state manager to replace Norm Story the super controler. I will agree that was a good job in serving HEA members well getting rid of him, but after that things went south literally when Brad Janorschke was hired from Minnesota by you two and the rest of the board back then in the supposed good old days and is worse that the controler they got rid of.
Brad J. the current manager in turn brought Many of his friends up from Minnesota as well for management positions, so much for local hire back then and total disregard for present employees or other Alaska state applicants at the time, ah?
You two along with the rest of the board have helped bring HEA into the position they are in now, which is not very good as far as i can see and hear.
So just exactly what is your support of Carey and wanting us to vote for him again going to do to get rid of the Michigan electric group and help the past, present & possibly future Employees & consumers that have suffered since his last service under the Minnesota group Dave helped bring UP? Now unless Dave is wanting to rid us of Brad J. & his Minnesota electric group to help employees and consumers now, then i see no reason to vote for him again, but thats just me.
