More browse, more moose, more problems

I read with interest the article about creating browse for urban moose and Ted Spraker's comments about the public being involved in growing browse for winter feeding. Was he "other-Directed? We should plant and nurture trees, watch them grow with pride and then have them destroyed by resident moose. My wife and I have cleared the forest, built our home and landscaped our property with pride only to have the moose destroy the fruits of our labors. This winter they have even eaten our Larches which  they have never done before.  We do protect our trees with fencing but we cannot physically protect them all.  We have had moose take up residence in our neighborhood all winter and they have systematically destroyed all young trees with surgical precision.  I for one refuse to plant moose magnet browse and to plant trees in town just to feed the moose is an invitation to disaster.  The more browse the moore moose, the more moose the more confrontations. Smart?
