Support sparks success at Torch Run

Central Peninsula law enforcement would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the 2012 Law Enforcement Special Olympics Torch Run. We especially want to thank the Kenai McDonalds for hosting this 5k event, and for contributing water, snacks, and facilities. The McDonalds owners and their staff are very gracious hosts. We would also like to thank Kenai Safeway for donating oranges for all of the runners and walkers. Finally, thank you to all of the 84 runners, walkers, bicyclists, volunteers, and to everyone who contributed to Special Olympics. You once again made this event a tremendous success for the Central Peninsula Special Olympics athletes, who will travel to competition this summer.
