Appropriation for hoops travel won't help Alaska's cause

I wonder how much sympathy our congressmen and congresswoman are going to get when requesting appropriations for Alaska in the future. Once Congress finds out our legislature and governor appropriated $2 million for individuals living in remote areas of the state to fly in to Anchorage to attend basketball games, I don't think it will be much. And, how can anyone associated with that decision justify it? Apparently, all the other needs of the state have been met.

Amazing, utterly amazing!
